I'm reminded of HP Lovecraft's 'The Case of Charles Dexter Ward,' and the horrible smells experienced when a character seeks to resurrect the dead using their body's preserved 'essential salts.'
Whitley Strieber said one of his alien visitors smelled of cinnamon with some cardboard undertones. But he claims to have been visited so often that there were other smells as well. Of ozone (that one crops up in a lot of UFO craft sightings, where the experiencer was brought in close proximity to the craft). He also mentioned sulfur, decay, and even wet dog, which also align with other Contactee testimonies.

The only Lovecraft story I ever read was “The Rats in the Walls”. It was great.
One of my favorite too.
I appreciate your wife just blamed the smell on your booty lmfao. This was wonderfully done!
Yeah, except I wasn't bloated at all after waking up. I see your lmfao and raise you a ROFLMNAO.
I cackled so hard at this, thank you. I actually didn’t know people smell cinnamon around Greys.
